Ms. Buley

1. What is your current role(s) at Vaughn Schools?
Behavioral Specialist associated with the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch.

2. What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have?
Before becoming a Behavioral Specialist, I worked in the kitchen here at Vaughn school, and worked as a sub. I then moved up to being a paraprofessional. I’ve been affiliated with Vaughn public school for 3 years now. I have coached basketball here for 2 years, 2022 and 2023. I also recently in 2023 began coaching volleyball as an assistant coach. For the 2023-2024 school year I will be moving up too head volleyball coach.

3. Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and if/where you graduated from college.
I was born in Great Falls Montana and have lived all over. I have lived in Belgrade Mt, Three Forks MT, Ulm MT, Albany NY, San Antonio TX, and Scranton Pennsylvania. I am a lady of many cities. I completed high school living with my grandparents in Cascade MT….go Badgers. After High school I attended the University of Providence here in Great Falls. I played basketball for the Argos as well as striving for a degree in secondary education. From there I moved to working towards my degree online.

4. Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other.
I am the oldest of six with five younger brothers, who all know big sis is the boss. In 2022 one of my brothers gave me my first nephew. He is the cutest little guy, and as a bonus he has the best Auntie. I am currently not married but have someone at home who I continue to learn and grow with.

5. Do you have any pets?
No current pets of my own this time, but I am an Auntie to a few cute kitties.

6. What are some of your hobbies and interests?
Hobbies and interests of mine include playing board games/cards, reading a good book, yoga, painting, taking care of my plants, and playing basketball.

7. Are there any other interesting tidbits you want to share about yourself?
I collect elephant figurines to put on my bookshelf at home. They are all different sizes, colors, and are made from different materials. My three favorites were handcrafted in East Africa.
