1.  What is your current role(s) at Vaughn Schools? 

K-8 Art Teacher, 5-8 Speech and Drama Teacher, Library Media Specialist/Teacher, MTSS BIT Facilitator

2.  What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have? 

Seventeen years in early childcare, 6 weeks to preschool.

3.  Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and if/where you graduated from college. 

Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, my stepfather was in the military, and gave us the opportunity to live in different states, California, Hawaii,  North Dakota, and Montana. Graduated from CMRussell High School, Great Falls, Montana. Received my Bachelor of Science Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. Received my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana.

4.  Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other. 

Married to Tom Buley going on our forty fifth year, blessed with two children, who in turn blessed us with nine grandchildren, and we just received our first great grandson this past year 2022.

5.  Do you have any pets?

Yes, we have a Goldendoodle named Dobby, and a Spainerd (SpringerSpaniel/German Shepherd cross) named Ginny and Yes, both names are from Harry Potter Books.

6.  What are some of your hobbies and interests?

Love to camp, four wheeling, reading, playing cards with friends, finding treasures at garage sales.

7.  Are there any other interesting tidbits you want to share about yourself?

Huge Harry Potter fan, at home and at school.
