1.  What is your current role(s) at Vaughn Schools?

Website Manager

2.  What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have? 

I previously taught 5th grade at Power School District after working there for many years as a paraprofessional. I currently also manage the Power School website.

3.  Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and if/where you graduated from college.

Born on the east coast in NJ, my family and I moved to Montana in 1999 and remained there until 2021, when we moved to Washington state. I graduated from a vocational high school in NJ, then attended community college to earn my Associate’s Degree. Many years after moving to Montana, I returned to college, WGU, to obtain my elementary teaching degree. 

4.  Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other.

My husband Kevin and I have 3 grown children. 

5.  Do you have any pets?

We have 2 cats, Stripes and Sweetie Pie.

6.  What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy growing succulents, and potted flowers, and especially love to collect shells and sand dollars when tide-pooling on the west coast.

7.  Are there any other interesting tidbits you want to share about yourself?

I love shoes and have quite a collection. Converse are one of my top favorites and I probably have 20 pairs of them.
