Mr. Birky  

1.  What is your current role(s) at Vaughn Schools? 

My current positions at Vaughn School are Custodian and Bus Driver.

 
2.  What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have? 

I was involved in swim team from the age of six until I was sixteen with many highpoint scoring trophies every year I was involved. I also played football, from 4th grade flag football through middle school, and all the way through high school varsity football, where I was part of a class b state championship and conference first place title. I played basketball from 4th grade to eighth grade where we won two final four championships along with one second place finish as well.

3.  Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and if/where you graduated from college. 

I was born in St. Maries, Idaho, and grew up in Cut Bank Montana. I never graduated but did obtain my GED four years after I dropped out. I attended one year at Billings C.O.T. for diesel mechanics. 

4.  Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other. 

I am a single parent of three beautiful young gentlemen who are the center of my world. 

5.  Do you have any pets?

Yes, we have two crazy dogs that go by the name of Hank and Chaulka along with an even crazier tuxedo cat named Blue.

6.  What are some of your hobbies and interests? 

My hobbies consist of taking the boys out fishing, hunting, dirt bike riding and shooting guns along with summer time camping.
