Mrs. Werber

1.  What is your current role(s) at Vaughn Schools?

I am the 5-8 English Language Arts and 4-8 Band and Music teacher.

2.  What previous teaching, coaching, or other extracurricular activities have you been involved with, if any, at previous schools and how many years of experience do you have?

In the past I have taught, 1st Grade, Title 1 Math and Reading, and I was the Education Coordinator at the C.M. Russell Museum. I have been in the field of education for fourteen years.

3.  Give us a brief history to include where you are from, where you were born, where you graduated from high school, and if/where you graduated from college.

I was born here in Montana and spent my life growing up in Vaughn, where I attended school from kindergarten through eighth grade. I then went on to graduate from Simms High School. I received my Bachelor’s of Science from The University of Montana-Western where I majored in Elementary Education with a Minor in K-12 Reading and emphases in math and social studies.

4.  Tell us about your family, spouse, or significant other.

I have been married to my amazing husband, Ryan for ten years and we have three beautiful children who currently attend the Vaughn School.

5.  Do you have any pets?

I have three pets, a dog named Blue and two cats named Garfield and Oreo.

6.  What are some of your hobbies and interests?

I enjoy anything outdoors, quilting and crafting, and spending time with my family.
